Louise Wilson is a Senior Hydrologist at Bureau of Meteorology

Louise has a doctorate in applied and computational mathematics from Monash University, Australia. She was previously part of the joint team comprising Australian universities, CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology which produced future climate projections for the Pacific and Australia.

She brings her work with future climate projections and climate science experience to the Water Resources and Modelling Unit at the Bureau of Meteorology.

Currently Louise is working with a team of scientists and developers to set up a national hydrological projections service for Australia which will support decision makers with information on the impacts of climatic change on water resources.
